I liked skating on a lake best, but I also remember that my local town flooded the basketball courts at a park so that we could skate there. Now I live in the South, but my town offers indoor skating during the month of December. I'm SO tempted to go give it a try now that I've lost some weight.Evelynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12951750886078196828noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31176502.post-24972456440201117042009-12-17T14:29:27.530-05:002009-12-17T14:29:27.530-05:00Hi Ruth.....I fell about laughing when You asked.....Hi Ruth.....I fell about laughing when You asked...do you ice skate or roller skate? We lived at the corner of Centre St and Catherine Ave and the whole town was "older" then with a population of 5,000. Grandma Devins' house still stands at 21 Wellington St.Ruthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15892804871759397018noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31176502.post-59016141130876387402009-12-17T07:50:12.165-05:002009-12-17T07:50:12.165-05:00I think the ice rink was in what is now called Mac...I think the ice rink was in what is now called Machell park.
