The St.Mary's River- Sault Ste Marie Ontario and Sault Ste Marie Michigan | | | |

I never thought about the name of this city until I saw the St. Mary's River today. "Sault" is an ancient French word for a cataract or rapids. The boardwalk on the Ontario side of the river is lovely for an evening stroll and it is still light at 9:45 PM. Westward we go!
Beautiful blue sky and water. Very quaint! I'm happy you have lovely weather. Can't wait to swap experiences though my photographic skills pale in comparison to yours.
ReplyDeleteSafe and happy travels :)
when I see men fishing, I think of my Vietnamese student saying,"Girls not allowed."
ReplyDeleteAnd I thought it was "salt". Looks like good weather.
ReplyDeleteSue Sault Marie - you are very close to where I was born. (Fort Frances, Dryden and my home town of Rainy River). The weather is great for sight seeing. Enjoy...and keep the "postcards" coming!
ReplyDeleteI have done this walk many times as I have family in the "Soo". Nice to see the visual reminder of good times!
ReplyDeleteI've been that way twice. How far are you going?
ReplyDeleteHave a great trip and keep those postcards coming.
ReplyDeleteWe are on our way to Victoria BC over the next 11 days:-)
