  1. It is hopeful isn't it? It's been pretty strange in the weather department. Warm and then colder with some snow...It's time for just warm weather. That is a really beautiful shot of the robin....

  3. YIPPEE for April...I hope the warmer weather is here to stay. I'm sure that Mr. Robin is hoping for more rain to bring out his meals. One thing is for sure that I will never need a iPod in my ear on my walks with the beautiful sounds of the Robin...man they can strike up a tune. I love it!

  4. And suddenly those birds with the red (or orange) breasts are back in abundance.

  5. That one photo speaks volumes!

It's fun to listen to the Robins again. They are so quiet all winter.

  6. The arrival of the birds after a long winter has always been the most poignant sign in my book that spring is back!

  11. What a great shot! You caught him just about to take off, a parallel to spring just taking off, too.

  12. Thanks for the comments. Sorry to hear about the snow in Manitoba, Ruth. And I agree with Cheryl that walking with an iPod is totally unnecessary when the birds are singing. (and most other times too!) Janie, I hope spring is taking off and stays airborn.

  14. Ruth,

Your photo of the robin is absolutely gorgeous.

You will get a photo of a Great Blue Heron. I was very lucky to get the one I did. I was only by chance.

Enjoy tomorrow. It's to be perfect spring weather. I hope the weatherman is right.
    Blessings,
    Mary
