San Francisco at dusk from the pier at Fort Mason
Spent most of the day riding San Francisco cable cars, walking through Chinatown, Union Square and down and up Lombard Street. But the best part of the day was spent at the end of the pier near Ghirardelli Square watching a spectacular sunset behind the Golden Gate Bridge. Good bye San Francisco...three days was not enough but we must move on down the coast toward Los Angeles.
What a beautiful view, Ruth!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, we went birdwatching on my birthday this past Saturday. Was going to do a myworld post but the Internet went down, so I'm saving it for next week. We saw a goshawk, abyssinian roller, red-billed hornbills and a few others that I have still to identify! I always think of you when I see the birds in the Zinder bush!
Warm greetings from Africa,
Esther
Ooooooo, that sky!!!!! Just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteVery cool picture. What I find different is the picture's color is mostly brown(tan). The fence, the boat, the background...it's something you don't see often. But it picks up the hue of red in the sky. Interesting. You are having a fantastic trip by the sounds of it.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shot.Hope you are getting to see most of the things you wished for.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,Ruth
What a warm, beautiful picture! I enjoy reading your posts very much. They show me views of another part of the world and let me feel so much of the body, soul and spirit in and around you.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing.
Greetings from Switzerland
Great photo with the soft pink color and the big ship.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shot. You really got around Frisco. Look forward to see more of these places after you get home. Enjoy the coast. So much more to see.
ReplyDeleteThis is fun going along with your on your trip! What a beautiful photo!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I've got to catch up...I didn't know you were "back." Yeah! Glad you're having such a good time.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the comments. I hope to be back reading other blogs next week. The sun is lower in the sky as it is late October and the lighting for pictures, especially in the evenings, is fantastic. It adds a golden glow to everything.
ReplyDeleteWow Ruth, that's a beautiful picture. I'm so glad you're sharing this trip with us.
