Freedom 55

My patient told me she would be 85 on Sunday.
“I will be 55 on Saturday,” I added.

25...55...85

summer...fall...winter

a hop, skip and a jump

Happy Birthday to us!

and at 55, I feel free to be me.

January 30, 1960...Fifty years ago (hard to believe isn't it!)

Well you're not 55 yet here in Denver, but happy birthday in your land right now! Best wishes for years to come!

Thirty years do fly by in one way but seem forever ago in another.

55 ... you are free to retire! I turned 55 last year and got my work pension (of course with a penalty). I felt rich.

Anyway, the years sure do have a way of flying by. I so wouldn't want to go back and have to do it all over again ... if with what I know now. The nice thing about being older ... one IS freer to be themselves.

What a little cutie pie you were! Yes, indeed, the years do fly by. Happy birthday!
I'm a math person, and I noticed that my mom was born in 1918, I was born in 1948, my oldest son was born in 1978, and his first son was born in 2008...we're all thirty years apart! I know, I know, that's only cool to math people.
