Wreneged

After three days of hard work the Wren's nest was completed. I watched in the evenings from our deck and used the super zoom on my camera to get these pictures.

After an evening of song, they flew off and have not returned in a week. I wonder how many nests were built before she found the one she really liked?

Seems kind of funny they build multiple nests. And too bad they haven't chosen the one you can watch, and photograph.

Wrens work sooooo hard! It's hard to believe that they use up such energy just to abandon it. Maybe they'll be back later???

What a clever title!

How strange that they would go to all the trouble to build the nest, then left. Maybe they'll be back. Great photos!

Like the last photo of the bird in flight.
Makes you wonder just how many nests they will build before choosing one?

At least you had the enjoyment of their company for a while. They may return at some point.
