Clouds, fog, wind, rain, sleet, snow...
The weather has been less than inspiring so far this month.
A peek of blue is welcome even for just a few moments.

Streamers blow off the lake
bringing snow showers and flurries in their path...
here they are and there they go.

First comment this time!Dad and I were really impressed with these "Peek a Blue" pictures. It is something we rarely see. The tropical skies are either a cloudless blue or almost completely black and gray except for the incredible sunsets. These shots are excellent as were your spring birds.
ReplyDeleteOur first house (barn) swallows arrived back today - 3 days early. The males come a claim the nest 2 - 3 weeks before the females.
Love the BLUE peeking through! :c)
ReplyDeleteWe saw blue sky and sunshine yesterday, after days of rain and fog. This morning we awake to a heavy snow.....
ReplyDeleteRuth, I am in total agreement, the weather has been less then favorable so far. The past couple of days have been extremely cold and it's back to layering clothes.
ReplyDeleteI do like the peek a blue pictures...makes one wonder what is behind the clouds...I hope it's sunshine and the "peek" gets bigger soon.
Oh,I love these pictures.I know that thw conditions that come with such clouds may not be good, but, the pictures are very dramatic.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,Ruth
I wish I could send you some blue sky from Niger, but unfortunately, ours has been quite dusty lately!

Stunning, Ruth. Wasn't it darned cold along with the sun this morning!?
ReplyDeleteSeems like we're all tired of this snowy winter weather. But spring can't be far behind.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos and such great clouds, however as you state March has definitely been the month for variety so far. Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteSmiles.
Such a range of weather conditions. That's a wonderful landscape.
ReplyDeleteAll these shots are so pretty! The touch of red of the barn makes a great contrast with the touch of blue in the sky!
ReplyDeleteYou shared some very wonderful photographs today; thanks.
ReplyDeleteI really like the title of this post, Ruth. Very appropriate to the skies over Ontario lately. And doesn't that red barn stand out? Nice!
ReplyDeleteInteresting sky in fast motion. I love you Peek a Blue.
ReplyDeleteRuth: Neat to see the skies over the farmland.

We saw the sun all day today. Even though it barely got to 20 degrees, the wind wasn't blowing and it seemed like a really nice day. A warm-up is predicted for the weekend, so I'll be sending some nicer weather your way Ruth!
ReplyDeleteWe've been having the same kind of weather. Today was really windy - not very nice for walking.
ReplyDeleteLike your pics.
