Lovely photos and so true. I have never heard the last saying before. Sad but true.
ReplyDeleteI really like the second pic over the Speed.
ReplyDeleteI really like love the second picture. I've always loved the look of bare branches, black against the setting sun.
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures and verses Ruth.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, these photos are all stunning! I especially love the third one by the Grand River. Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteJust the beauty boost I need to start my day.
Really appealing combination of photos and quotes!
ReplyDeleteGreat reminder that there is beauty even in what appears to be stark.
ReplyDeleteReally a nice set of photos for SkyWatch Friday. I am always interested in what others are doing. Have a nice weekend.

Great quotes. And I do think bare branches are beautiful. ;-) Good thing, since they are that way for a good portion of the year here in Ontario. Nice photos, all of them.
ReplyDeleteAwesome all around - photos, quotes, everything!
ReplyDeleteBare branches have a certain beauty when the sun catches them. That bird is just so cute.
ReplyDeleteI found the photos with the quotes to go along with it to be very soothing.-Very nice!
ReplyDeleteWonderful sequencing! The last one really packed a punch. I've always liked winter for that reason I think. Down here in south Florida our cypress are most photogenic when the needles have fallen.
ReplyDeleteThe bare trees against the sky are spectacular.Love the verses with each photo.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,Ruth
Lovely shots, and great quotes. Happy SWF. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots. I also like the quotes.
ReplyDeleteExcellent SWF post. The bare lacey branches of winter give us hope for spring. Let us not cage anything and capture it instead, like you did, for many to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos Ruth and the one about birds and cages is true and sad. I hate to see all the birds in cages at the pet stores...
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful photos. Love Tikerbell sitting in the tree.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful shots and the sky is soooo blue and the verses are perfect. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend

The second photo is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the green again, though.
