I love squirrels. If I lived in Sweden, I would wish I had a tame one! I love the picture of it just behind the bird, but my favourite is the one where it feeds right from your hand. Like a little baby monkey!! :-D
Wow, I love these! And there's something about your setting the photos that reminds me of our family trips across the U.S. (from national park to national park) while on furloughs in the 60's and 70's.
Have to love how nature co-exists. Great shot of squirrel and cardinal proving that.
Please be careful feeding the chippers like that. I wouldn't want you to get bit. I tell the visitors all the time that a finger and peanut look very similar. Here in the western parks many squirrels carry fleas which can carry bubonic plague.
Oooohhhhh..what adorable pictures. I think the squirrel has a very sheepish look at his face. Could be because he is stealing Mr. Cardinals food? Is it me...I have noticed more chipmunks this year then any other year. They are very sweet...but noisy when mad!
Thanks for your comments. Thanks Gaelyn for reminding us that these chipmunks are wild animals. In this park they are exceedingly tame and are used to being hand fed, but care should be taken.
I really am liking the outlines around your photos...and also the font in the bottom two. Very artistic and interesting. I will have to try that picnik! Oh..and great photos..love the little critters.
Ruth,
ReplyDeleteThe photos of your springtime friends are awesome. I love chipmunks. That is one thing we don't have here.
Watching the robin feed his young these days.
Hope all is well with you.
Blessings,
Mary

I noticed the cardinal has his crest lowered - maybe he's not too sure about this whole sharing thing...
