| Happy Longest Day! Yes, it is hot... but what a beautiful June day to relax and enjoy the start of summer. I celebrated, enjoying my anti-gravity chair on the deck while watching the Robins eating Saskatoon berries, the Cardinals feeding their newly fledged offspring on the fence post, a House Wren chattering loudly and checking out our bird house (a new yard bird!), the Chipping Sparrows, Blue Jays, House Finches, Goldfinches, Chickadees, Chipmunk and Red Squirrel looking for handouts. Life can get so busy that we forget to pause and enjoy what is right at our doorstep.  |

Lovely day here too, today ... first day with no rain in a few days. Seems unreal that the days are already going to start getting shorter. The days, weeks and months go by SO fast.
